Bermuda
"Nothing more than storms, gusts and foul weather' wrote Silvester Jourdain, in his 1613 book A Simple Description of the Barmudas. He was not totally incorrect about the climate - Bermuda is more similar in proximity to Nova Scotia than it is to the Caribbean however, it wouldn't be the same if he walked through Front Street in Hamilton on an evening in the summer heat while watching dancers perform and listening to jazz and reggae or laid in Bermuda's famed pink beaches. It comprises seven islands interconnected (and some islands), Bermuda is 1000 km to the east of the US coast. Since the time it was first colonized in 1612, the island's loyalty has always been to the UK however, to a certain extent, it straddles the divide in Britain as well as the United States.
